AFAM chain and sprocket kit, part number 01789246: an AFAM XS-ring Hyper Reinforced 525 chain (gold) with 114 links, a 17-tooth steel front sprocket and a 39-tooth aluminium rear sprocket. Chain and both sprockets come together, so they wear in as a set.
AFAM says its front sprockets are made from C45 steel with induction-hardened teeth. The rear sprocket is aluminium — lighter than steel, but it wears faster.
